Automatic stream detection
Open a page in the built-in browser and Panura watches how it loads its video — network requests, player config, page text — then offers the stream it found. No copy-pasting links, no extensions.
Free · No account · No sign-up
Panura opens any page in its own browser, spots the video stream on it automatically, and hands it to a real player — with gestures, subtitles, casting and offline saving. It plays your local files just as well.
Android 8+ · iOS 16.4+ · Android TV & Fire TV · no ads during playback
One app, every screen
The same detection rules and the same player, built natively for each platform.
The full build: in-app browser, stream detection, local library, downloads and Chromecast. Plays in portrait or landscape.
A native SwiftUI build on the same engine, with Picture-in-Picture, background audio, Now Playing controls and AirPlay-friendly output.
A remote-first receiver: browse local videos by drive and folder, or send a stream straight from your phone and keep watching on the big screen.
What it does
Most players ask you to find a direct link first. Panura does that part for you.
Open a page in the built-in browser and Panura watches how it loads its video — network requests, player config, page text — then offers the stream it found. No copy-pasting links, no extensions.
Keep a detected stream or a local file in your own library and watch it later with no connection at all. Downloads continue in the background.
MP4, MKV, AVI, TS, WEBM, MOV, FLV and more, with hardware decoding and a software fallback for the files that need it. Sort, rename and organise your library.
Volume boost to 200%, an equalizer, multi-track audio, and subtitles that honour ASS styling — plus a subtitle search when the file arrives without any.
Swipe for brightness and volume, double-tap to skip, pinch to zoom. Speed control, sleep timer, Picture-in-Picture and background audio when you need them.
Pop-ups, redirects and trackers are filtered while you browse, so pages load faster and fewer things try to open themselves. No account, ever.

Questions
No. Panura ships with no catalogue, no index and no content of its own. It is a browser and a player: it opens pages you navigate to yourself and plays files you already have. What you choose to open is your responsibility.
No. YouTube is explicitly excluded, and DRM-protected services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ are not supported — their streams are encrypted and Panura makes no attempt to decrypt them. Use the official apps for those.
Yes, on every store, with no account and no subscription. The app shows ads in its own interface to cover development, but never during playback — no banners over the video and no mid-video interruptions. Nothing is gated behind a purchase.
Crash reports and anonymous usage analytics, plus advertising identifiers for the ads. It does not collect the addresses you visit, the streams it detects, or the names of your files. The Privacy Policy lists each service and what it receives.
Sites change how they load video. Detection rules are fetched from the web rather than baked into the app, so most sites can be fixed without waiting for a store update. Send the page address to the support email below.
